TOPIC: Collect log failure on EC machines

Collect log failure on EC machines 8 months 3 weeks ago #2519

I'm wondering if someone could advise me how to get rid of the recent failure of CollectLog processes on EC Machines (see attachment). Is this something that we can control or do I need to contact the helpdesk at EC?
I thought it's related to some of my quotas, but I don't see any ecced ... Maybe I'm wrong...

Thanks in advance,
Roger

I've experienced the same. I didn't even look at the cause - assumed it was a computer problem. I simply "re-queued aborted".

What is report in the CollectLogs log file?

ecgate queues look very busy at the moment ...
squeue -a | wc -l
squeue -a | grep PENDING | wc -l

I think it is slow because it tries to archive the html file of collected logs in ecfs. I'm pretty sure it would run much faster if you skip that.
